Le chercheur, qui d\u00e9bute une th\u00e8se sur les pratiques de couverts v\u00e9g\u00e9taux en mara\u00eechage, a d\u00e9j\u00e0 identifi\u00e9 333 fermes dans 183 communes. Il demande de relayer son appel pour compl\u00e9ter l\u2019inventaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Aujourd\u2019hui, personne ne sait vraiment combien de mara\u00eecher\u00b7\u00e8res diversifi\u00e9\u00b7es produisent des l\u00e9gumes en Wallonie \u00bb<\/em>, explique-t-il sur la page de l’op\u00e9ration. On ne sait donc pas non plus vraiment quelle surface est cultiv\u00e9e par les mara\u00eecher\u00b7\u00e8res diversifi\u00e9\u00b7es, combien d’\u00e9quivalents temps plein travaillent dans le secteur, combien de mara\u00eecher\u00b7\u00e8res s’installent chaque ann\u00e9e ou au contraire combien cessent leur activit\u00e9.<\/em>\u00bb <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Des listes existent pourtant. On trouve des r\u00e9pertoires au niveau des ceintures alimentaires, des annuaires provinciaux ou locaux, ainsi que des bases de donn\u00e9es li\u00e9es aux circuits courts et \u00e0 l\u2019alimentation locale. Certains organismes ou certaines associations recensent \u00e9galement des producteur\u00b7ices selon un label ou un r\u00e9seau. Ces ressources ont d’ailleurs servi de base au chercheur pour d\u00e9marrer. Mais \u00ab aucune de ces listes n\u2019est exhaustive \u00bb<\/em>, observe-t-il sur son site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les informations collect\u00e9es serviront donc \u00e0 produire des statistiques, un rapport annuel et une cartographie du secteur. L\u2019objectif est aussi de promouvoir l\u2019alimentation locale et de soutenir les revendications politiques et appuyer la recherche. Y.R. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
