<p>Cette volonté d’offrir une alimentation saine aux femmes durant leur grossesse s’est concrétisé grâce à un subside de 10.000 euros, octroyé par la province de Namur. « <em>Nous avons évalué qu’avec cette aide financière, nous pourrions subvenir aux besoins de 80 participantes. Là, on en est à 90. Ça dépasse nos attentes et notre budget, mais Agricovert va financer les coûts excédentaires pour nous permettre d’aller jusqu’au bout</em> », précise Frédéric Jadoul.</p>\n

Sur le terrain, les premiers retours sont néanmoins encourageants : « <em>Je me disais qu’à l’échelle d’une petite commune comme celle-ci, ce serait déjà bien si on avait six ou sept bénéficiaires. Aujourd’hui, je suis encore plus consciente de l’importance de la qualité des produits, de leur origine, etc.</em> »</p>\n

<p>Cette volonté d’offrir une alimentation saine aux femmes durant leur grossesse s’est concrétisé grâce à un subside de 10.000 euros, octroyé par la province de Namur. « <em>Nous avons évalué qu’avec cette aide financière, nous pourrions subvenir aux besoins de 80 participantes. Là, on en est à 90. Ça dépasse nos attentes et notre budget, mais Agricovert va financer les coûts excédentaires pour nous permettre d’aller jusqu’au bout</em> », précise Frédéric Jadoul.</p>\n

Sur le terrain, les premiers retours sont néanmoins encourageants : « <em>Je me disais qu’à l’échelle d’une petite commune comme celle-ci, ce serait déjà bien si on avait six ou sept bénéficiaires. Mais on en a régulièrement une vingtaine par semaine. Je crois qu’on arrive à toucher un nouveau public. On va préparer un questionnaire d’évaluation pour que les mamans puissent nous faire des retours après leur accouchement.</em> »</p>\n

<p>Stéphanie vient chaque semaine au point de distribution de Mehaigne. Elle connaissait la coopérative mais n’y allait pas de manière régulière. À l’annonce de l’arrivée de son second enfant, elle s’est inscrite aux paniers. « <em>J’ai toujours fait attention à mon alimentation de façon générale, </em>explique-t-elle. <em>Avant, j’avais même un potager. Comme Stéphanie, elle était toutefois déjà sensibilisée à l’importance d’avoir une alimentation saine : « <em>J’achetais déjà du bio avant ma grossesse, mais en grandes surfaces. Aujourd’hui, je suis encore plus consciente de l’importance de la qualité des produits, de leur origine, etc.</em> »</p>\n

<p>La maman ne cache pas qu’elle a été séduite par un autre aspect de l’initiative, non négligeable : « <em>Le fait que ce soit gratuit nous a vraiment convaincus d’y participer, mon compagnon et moi.</em> »<em> </em>Selon Statbel, le prix des produits alimentaires et des boissons a augmenté de 42% entre 2013 et 2025. Les légumes frais ont subi, quant à eux, une hausse de 26% sur cette même période.</p>\n
